What You'll Do:
- Assess and monitor residents’ nutritional status and dietary needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized nutrition care plans
- Ensure compliance with physician orders and established dietary guidelines
- Manage therapeutic diets and necessary modifications
- Evaluate potential food and medication interactions
- Document nutritional assessments, progress notes, and care plans
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and staff
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to support optimal resident outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required
- Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required
- State certification/licensure required
- Experience in a long-term care environment and geriatric nutrition preferred
- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
- Must be at least 21 years of age
