As an HR Generalist with Thorne Crest Senior Living, you will perform mid-level human resources work, providing a broad level of HR-related knowledge in areas including employee engagement, employment, benefits, workers’ compensation, safety, and payroll support at the community level. This role supports the administration of HR policies, programs, and procedures in alignment with state and federal employment laws and ABHM’s mission and core values. Key responsibilities include partnering with department managers on recruitment, managing the onboarding process, supporting employee training and development, leading engagement and recognition initiatives, serving as a primary resource for HR inquiries, and assisting with conflict resolution to foster a positive and supportive workplace culture.
Schedule: This is a full-time position with daytime hours, Monday-Friday.
What You Need:
- Must be 18+ years or older (required).
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (strongly preferred).
- Prior experience including recruiting/onboarding, employee engagement, and employee relations (required).
- Proficient computer use, working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (required).
- 2+ years of Human Resource experience (preferred).
- Health care or related experience (strongly preferred).
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems and payroll platforms such as UKG, ADP, or Dayforce (preferred).
