Dietary Aide

Join our team as a Dietary Aide at Thorne Crest Senior Living Community in Albert Lea, MN. Pay is $14.00 to $17.00 per hour, with credit given for verified experience, plus holiday pay. We offer PRN, part-time, and full-time opportunities in a welcoming senior living community where you'll help create a positive dining experience for residents every day.

What you'll do

  • Assist with meal preparation and food service
  • Set up the dining room for meals and assist with meal service
  • Deliver meal trays to residents in a timely and courteous manner
  • Help create a welcoming, high-quality dining experience for residents and visitors
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What you'll need

Required:

  • Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred:

  • Previous dietary aide or food service experience
  • Experience in a nursing home, hospital, senior living community, or other healthcare setting (preferred but not required)

Schedule

PRN, part-time, and full-time opportunities available. Part-time and full-time team members work 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM, including every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage. PRN schedules are based on facility needs.
