Dietary Aide | Elm Crest Senior Living Community | Harlan, IA

Do you enjoy helping others and creating a positive dining experience? Elm Crest Senior Living Community is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you'll support meal service operations and help ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a welcoming environment.

Our kitchen operates from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week, and team members must be available to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare dining areas before meal service
Assist with serving food and beverages to residents and guests
Transport meals to residents when needed
Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining and food service areas
Assist with dishwashing, stocking, and other kitchen duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work a flexible schedule within operating hours
Availability for weekend and holiday shifts
Reliable attendance and strong customer service skills

Preferred

Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or dining services
Experience working in a healthcare, senior living, or rehabilitation setting
