What You'll Do
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide high-quality clinical care while supporting residents' overall well-being and helping ensure exceptional care delivery throughout the community.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care within the community
- Complete resident assessments and participate in care planning, interventions, and evaluations
- Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to develop and support individualized care plans
- Promote residents' highest level of physical, mental, and social well-being
- Provide guidance and oversight to nurse aides and medication aides as directed by the Director of Nursing
- Monitor changes in resident condition and communicate updates appropriately
- Support a safe, respectful, and positive care environment
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Active, unencumbered South Dakota Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Long-term care experience preferred but not required
- New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule (one day per week and every 4th weekend)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to resident care
- Compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others
