What You'll Do
As a Nursing Aide, you'll provide hands-on support to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care while helping create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
- Provide respectful, compassionate support to residents living with dementia and memory-related conditions
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the appropriate team members
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and maintaining resident safety
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and memory care programming
- Help maintain clean, comfortable, and welcoming living spaces
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team members
- Document care and updates using electronic resident charting systems
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- One year of experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to complete required annual in-service education and training requirements
- Comfortable using technology, including electronic resident charting systems
- Compassionate, dependable, patient, and committed to providing exceptional resident care
