Maintenance Technician
Trail Ridge Senior Living Community | Sioux Falls, SD
$21.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience | Full-time | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM with weekend and holiday on-call rotation
Trail Ridge Senior Living Community is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our community safe, comfortable, and running smoothly for the residents and staff who call it home.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the community
- Troubleshoot and repair building systems, equipment, and fixtures
- Complete and document work orders in a timely, professional manner
- Maintain a clean, safe, and attractive interior and exterior environment
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed
- Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday maintenance rotations
What You'll Need
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and supplies
- Must be at least 18 years old
Preferred:
- 1+ years of facility maintenance experience, ideally in senior living or a similar residential setting
- Technical certification or trade school training
- Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently
Pay and Benefits
- $21.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
