What You'll Do
- Plan, coordinate, and lead engaging recreational, social, educational, and wellness programs for residents
- Create meaningful opportunities that promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being
- Develop monthly activity calendars and coordinate special events, outings, and celebrations
- Work with residents across all levels of care, including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing
- Encourage resident participation and build programs based on resident interests and preferences
- Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident quality of life
- Recruit, train, and supervise activity volunteers as needed
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Activity Director Certification required
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
- Minimum of one year of experience planning, organizing, and leading recreational or activity programming
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
