What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee the infection prevention and control program across the community
- Monitor infection trends and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility infection control standards
- Coordinate immunization tracking, reporting, and verification
- Educate and train staff on infection prevention practices and protocols
- Oversee and direct the delivery of high-quality clinical care and services
- Supervise daily nursing activities and support clinical staff across all shifts
- Promote residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary leadership teams to support safe clinical operations
- Implement procedures aligned with state and federal regulations and best practices
- Lead by example in supporting the mission and values of the organization
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Active RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical and supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
- At least 1 year of experience in infection prevention or infection control preferred
- Strong understanding of infection prevention standards and regulations
- Current CPR certification required
- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Geriatric care experience strongly preferred
- Experience educating and mentoring clinical staff
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to leadership
