Resident Care Coordinator (Staffing & Scheduling) – Senior Living
$22.25–$24.25/hour | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts
Mountain Vista Assisted Living & Memory Care, part of American Baptist Homes of the Midwest, is hiring a Resident Care Coordinator to support the daily staffing and scheduling operations of our nursing department. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our residents receive consistent, high-quality care by maintaining appropriate staffing levels and supporting our caregiving teams.

What You’ll Do
- Create and maintain staffing schedules for nursing staff including caregivers and medication technicians
- Manage call-offs and arrange shift coverage to ensure adequate staffing 24/7
- Communicate with staff regarding scheduling updates and adjustments
- Track staffing levels and notify nursing leadership when coverage falls below requirements
- Prepare and distribute daily assignments and staffing reports
- Maintain and update employee contact lists and staffing records
- Coordinate scheduling for orientation, training, and in-service hours with staff development
- Track employee attendance and communicate concerns to nursing leadership
- Assist with payroll tracking by maintaining accurate timecard records
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and nursing leadership regarding staffing needs
- Support compliance with staffing requirements and facility regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in assisted living or senior living
- QMAP Certification in the state of Colorado required
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computers and programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
